One Year On.

I came up to this blog and I read everything again. I realized how life can change over a short time.

Alhamdullilah today everything is everything I wanted it to be last year when I actually wrote that blog. So much has happened and yet it seems like "only a day".

Last year in Uni was not too bad, not too good. But it is an eye opener that opens up avenues for me especially to realize a few things about life and so. Last year was bad year, as was the half of 2007. Thats life I guess. But going through bad times ,enables you to realize good times.

Looking over many things I have said and done in the past, I realized I wrote with a lot of anger. I don't know why, or maybe i do, but I don't know why I could realize that a bit early. Of course my liberal salafi elements existed where I believed my ability to use Google Scholar (and thus have instant access to Qur'an and Sunnah or as I thought... so ) made me believe I was infalliable to questioning. I also was spritually bunkcrupt. The only different now maybe , that I have realized this and inshALLAH I am working on it. I have also understood so many issues I might not in the past.

I realize People are only People. No matter how perfect they appear from the outside or from afar. If you say something that annoys the beggar on the street, at some level it can get to the most peaceful of peacemakers. Oppressors and the oppressed. You could switch their positions, in life, and the state of affairs will still be the same. Oppressed people are just people who don't have the power to oppress. I know people who suffer in bad times, forget their bad times in good, inflict upon others the same harm which befalled them, to blinded to see their pain. May Allah save me from that. wa'salathu wa'salamu 3ala Syedinah Resullilah 'wa'alahi wa'ashabi wa'salam.


Today Nuwaiz Marmar let me drive his friend's big jeep. it's a old one, but the first time i drove such and such.

Chemistry Labs

Today was the first day of chemistry labs. Usually they should have began earlier but they were bing renovated or so. It was a basic titration and simply the type I always struggle at. I don't know why. But I managed to do it. Our instructor was Asian (a term used in Australia for chinese looking people ) and really nice compared to the one the group next to me had who seemed to be speaking in broken plus broken english and much more school like stricter. I dont' know why. I was like the last one to finish. I came home did some chemistry work.
In the morning before I went to uni I did an assignment i had due in today. Usually I am so cool with my assignment I was like this should be a breeze. But I struggled but pulled through over writing a assignment about research done my lectures.
I met a few Sri Lankans at uni. Suprisingly one tamil dude called tun (short name) who is an Australian Citizen dad also works in Hong Kong and he also went to school in Hong Kong round about the same time I did (until 2000). He goes to HK every year too :) lolz
I met a guy from my neighboring school CIS and a guy from my school. Arghh Lankans.... who said I am alone ?

Colberg

Yesterday we went to Colberg Mosque. The topic given was about Shaheeds and different ways to die as one and different easy ways to enter Paradise. All of us with the exception of Sham.
We all missed fajr mosque this morning. I went to sleep at 1 AM but the other's were still playing X box. Then later I woke up nearly at 12.
We had biryani (for like the 5th time in two weeks) for lunch. Then I began to study. I still have not grasped some recent Calculus. I decided I was going to study Chemistry to somewhat prepare for the online Mid Semester Test. After studying it and doing some mock tests I took the test and Alhamdullilah I got everything right. Then I decided to practise more chem. I also wrote a song for "Belal's farewell dinner" at Nuhaim Mar'ma's house today.

Full day

Today is the day I am in uni that I am full. It begins with engineering system design and then Chemistry and then Calculus. We are having a Calculus test on Friday so much prepare for that. We had our ESD tute today and we were out derainign buckets. I changed my group slightly and I was with a boy called Rilshad who Noni sachie knew. Anyway we drained buckets in the South Lawn. for one part we had to partner up with another group called our "buddy" group but they were clearly lost. Back in class we did what we were meant to do. Then I had Calculus Tute. That was alright but then our tutor is pretty not good. I did alright on my assignment alhamdulliah. After praying I came back home around 6 10. I am feeling pretty sick now. Inshallah I will feel better tom :)

Got 2 hours arabic tom for which I will spend around 6 hours outside but then to learn something is always jihad :)

The Bob Harris Show

Yesterday I listen to the Bob Harris Show Recorded on BBC radio 2 online. The only reason I listen was cus Yoriyos was featured on it. For the first time they spoke about him and his father a relationship he has always tried to mask. He also performed a few well known song including the Pied Piper.
Then he performed this song which he said he had no name for and had not finished.

Masa time !

Today I went to belal's madrassa. Belal put me in Brother Sameem's class where his friend Infaz was also in. Then we decided to drop Nabeel. Nabeel said he had left over biriyani from his house. Then we decided to barge in. As we waited for food we drifted on Need for Speed all the way. Then we prayed , went to the chemist, went to Office Works to get a printer cartridge which was not available. Then we came home and slept. I woke up in time for Magrib and we went to the mosque. Came back, smacked our lips with delicious mango lacy or whatever.Then I needed to study Chemistry, Calculus , check on some arabic and put a go to sleep :)

Interesting Day

I came home at 4 45 today. I tried to put asleep but couldn't. we were supposed to go to Coburg mosque. Then Belal went to buy a turtle. We were supposed to go to Nabeel's house before dinner and then go to Colbery asap. But then becus of Belal we couldn't and we ended going there as normal. I played Happy Birthday (yes I did Hilal). Then after eating cake , singing , hugging , begging , scolding, and drinking we came home :)
Nothing much since I am tired :)
